7 Seed Crackers
Ingredients
- 2 ½ oz Simply Natural Organic Hulled Buckwheat groats
- 2 ½ oz sunflower seeds
- 2 ½ oz pepitas
- 1 ½ oz Simply Natural Organic Brown Flaxseeds
- 1 ½ oz hemp seeds
- 1 ½ oz Simply Natural Organic Brown Sesame Seeds
- 1 oz Simply Natural Organic Chia Seeds
- 1 tbsp dried Simply Natural Organic Rosemary
- or 1 tbsp dried Simply Natural Organic Thyme
- 1 tbsp Simply Natural Psyllium Husk
- 1 tsp Simply Natural Himalayan Rock Salt
- ¼ tsp ground Simply Natural Organic Black Pepper, to taste
- 6 ½ oz water
Methods
- Preheat oven to 325°F.
- Mix buckwheat, sunflower seeds, pepitas, flaxseeds, hemp seeds, sesame seeds, chia, rosemary, psyllium husks, salt, pepper and water in a mixing bowl. Let it sit in the mixing bowl for 5 to 10 minutes.
- After mixture has rested, mix again for 10 seconds. Thus, remove the content from the mixing bowl, transfer to a piece of parchment (approx. 9 in. x 13 in.).
- Spread mixture evenly over parchment and top with another piece of parchment paper. With a rolling pin, roll out mixture to approximately ⅛ inch thickness. Transfer to a baking sheet and remove top piece of parchment. Bake 75 minutes (325°F).
- Let cool completely before cutting with a knife or breaking into shards.
