This Chinese home-style seaweed egg drop soup recipe is healthy and very quick to make.

  • 5pcs of Seaweed Sprout (soak with water 5 mins)
  • 1pcs egg
  • 5pcs of Qing Yuan Small Brown Shiitake (soak with water 5 mins)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 500ml filtered water


  1. Boil the water and add in seaweed sprout and shiitake
  2. Cook in 5 minutes, season to taste with salt
  3. Remove from heat, slowly add in egg and stir
  4. Ready to serve
