Clementine Chocolate Oats by Alessia Simmen
Ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- 1/3 cup Simply Natural Organic Rolled Oats
- 1 Zenxin Organic Clementine – juice and zest
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp Simply Natural Organic Pea Protein Powder
- 2 tsp Simply Natural Corn Malt Sweetener
- 1 tsp Simply Natural Chia Seeds
- half dipped Zenxin Organic Clementine wedges in chocolate
- A few slices of Zenxin Organic Kiwi

Methods
- Make Chocolate Dipped Clementines: Melt some chocolate over a bain marie. Be careful to not overheat the chocolate. Remove the bowl from the water before all the chocolate has melted. Stir until all the chocolate has melted and is smooth. Peel and separate the clementine into wedges. Dip each wedge into the chocolate halfway. Then refrigerate until you’re ready to top your oats.
- In a small bowl place your chia seeds in a little bit of milk to soak.
- In a pot, stir the milk at low heat. Add cocoa powder, protein powder, clementine zest and stir until well combined.
- Gently bring the milk mixture to a boil, add the oats and corn malt sweetener.
- Cook for 15 min, stir until the oats are creamy.
- Add the soaked chia seeds and clementine juice. Mix well
- Transfer oatmeal to a bowl and top with the Chocolate Dipped Clementines and some kiwi. Ready to serve.
