So how do I choose the right oats for the family?

The difference between rolled, quick rolled and instant oats are simply how much the oat groat has been processed resulting in different textures and cooking times.

Do know that our Simply Natural’s Australian Oats can simply be served by pouring hot beverage onto it. You can skip the cooking on stove process even for rolled oats. Easy-peasy!

The table below will give you more ideas on how to prepare them in perfection!

While these varieties have undergone a different level of processing, there is one thing they all have in common: Nutritional Value. Rolled, quick-rolled, and instant oats all have the same nutritional profile since they’re all made from whole oat groats.

Oats are known as among the world’s healthiest grains.

So, it’s not surprising to know that they contain large amounts of carbs and fiber; including the powerful beta-glucan which aid in lowering cholesterol, reduced blood sugar and insulin responses, relieved constipation and improved immune function.

They are also a good source of many vitamins, minerals, and unique plant compounds.

In addition to all this, oats are also very filling and may reduce appetite and help you eat fewer calories. More reasons to keep oats in your diet meals checklist!

You can easily enjoy our oats by pouring hot water and add some Simply Natural’s Organic Gojiberry, Raisins, and Sunflower seeds.

In case you have extra time on your hands, you can spend some extra 10 minutes to bake this Organic Granola!
