Gluten-free and Dairy-free Breakfast Recipe (with organic amaranth seeds)


Using the 1:3 ratio of amaranth seeds to liquid, this recipe can be adjusted according to your preference.

  • 1 cup of  Simply Natural Organic Amaranth Seeds

  • 1 1/2 cups of coconut milk or almond milk

  • 1 1/2 cups water

Toppings: ( Amounts may be adjusted to your preference )

  • 1 tablespoon of organic coconut oil (liquid form)

  • 1 heaping spoonful of chia seeds (more if preferred)

  • 1/2-1 cup of blueberries

  • Organic cane sugar, to taste

Cooking instructions

  1. Measure and rinse the amaranth seeds. Drain water.

  2. Combine amaranth seeds, water and coconut milk or almond milk in a pot.

  3. Cook over medium heat until water is absorbed (similar to cooking oatmeal)

  4. Let cool and add more coconut milk or almond milk until the desired consistency is achieved.

  5. Add toppings
