Glutinous Millet Dumplings

Have you been seeing dumplings all over social media lately? The Dragon Boat Festival (The Duanwu Festival) is coming soon and everyone is preparing by making these delicious dumplings (Zongzi / Bak Zhang). The traditional dumplings are made with glutinous rice. This sticky rice is a common staple in the Asian diet, however, it is not a diabetic-friendly grain. Glutinous rice has the highest glycemic index among all the other types of rice, as it lacks a component of starch known as amylose. Hence it causes a short-term spike in your blood sugar once consumed and gets digested quickly - causing you to get hungry much faster. [RECIPE] Zenxin Organic Vibrant Fresh Salsa

A new week, a new recipe! Our Singapore office came up with this super simple yet delicious recipe, and we're here to share it with you! What you need: 3 cloves of Zenxin Organic garlic ¼ tsp 'Simply Natural' French sea salt 2 Zenxin Organic red chillies (finely diced) 8 Zenxin Organic tomatoes-on-the-vine (diced) 1 sprig of Zenxin Organic fresh coriander (finely chopped) 8 Zenxin Organic calamansi (juice only) Method: 1.  Peel and trim the garlic cloves and pound to a paste with the sea salt. 2.  Add together the finely chopped coriander and red chillies, diced tomatoes and calamansi juice. 3.  Then stir in the garlic salt paste. 4.  Enjoy!   Now you can have fresh, appetizing salsa in three simple steps! This is perfect in nachos burritos and tacos, or just use it as a dip with corn chips. Our Mrs Wellness Awareness Constance recently contributed a recipe for delicious oatmeal blueberry and walnut muffins. The recipe uses all natural and organic ingredients and is super easy to put together.
